Bollywood dance fitness classes utilizes high-intensity interval training (HIIT) principles to provide health benefits to the participant. The class consists of intense, high impact dance moves (which drive the heart rate up) with moderately-intense, low impact moves (allowing for a short recovery) to give participants an exhilarating yet effective workout. Depending upon the level on intensity one can burn unto 800 calories in a session of 60mins. This total body workout builds strength, endurance, confidence, and community- the essential ingredients needed for participants to unleash their inner rockstar.
Adult Fitness Classes – Come and enjoy a group Bollywood fitness session! Boost energy levels, increase flexibility, reduce stress and feel good. A unique blend of Bollywood dance movement with aerobic exercise. Move your body with the rhythm of music. Enjoy physical and mental well being through the experience.
Classes: Mon and Wed – 7:00-8:00pm; Sat – 10:30-11:30am
Class Age Groups:
We offer classes for the following ages: 3 & 4 year olds, 5-8 year olds, 9-12 year olds, Teens and Adults (ages 13+ are welcome in any adults class). Family Discounts available, please reach out to us.
Four quarters of classes are offered per year. Each quarter is anywhere from 6-9 weeks in duration. Each class is 55 minutes long and is held once per week. Each class begins with a 5-7 minute warm-up routine followed by dance instruction based on prepared choreography. We find platforms for the students to perform around in the community.
